AURA presents “The Peace of Wild Things”

AURA CHAMBER CHOIR presents “The Peace of Wild Things” – Saturday April 21st at 7:30 and Sunday April 22nd at 2pm at PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1204 – 30th Avenue, Vernon, BC.

Admission is $18 for Adults and Seniors – students are free.

Tickets are available from Choir Members and at the door.

This concert is conducted by Imant Raminsh and will feature a full program of Imant’s  music (with accompaniments by oboe, string quartet & piano).

This may be the last time AURA will have the opportunity to take part in a program of this kind under Imant’s direction as he will retire from AURA after the Spring 2019 performance of Bach’s B-minor Mass.

Our program will include Imant’s Missa Brevis, our title piece The Peace of Wild Things, a Doukhobor Lullaby, Bye, Bye, Baby, the famous unofficial Latvian National anthem, Put Vejini and among other pieces, you won’t want to miss the haunting cello accompaniment to In The Night we Shall Go In.
Our soprano soloist is Salmon Arm’s Andrea Roberts.

We invite you to join us for this concert of music by Imant Raminsh – to sit back and enjoy the beautiful melodies and rich harmonies .

Please feel free to call Wayne or Marge at 250-542-8118 for tickets.
