AURA has announced its upcoming spring concert will be performed at Peace Lutheran Church located at 1204-30th Avenue in Vernon, BC on Saturday April 21 at 7:30pm and on Sunday April 22 at 2:00pm.

The program will include works by our internationally acclaimed conductor Imant Raminsh including his Missa Brevis, last performed by members of AURA at Carnegie Hall in 2006.

Other pieces that you will not want to miss include Ave Verum Corpus, Ubi Caritas and I will Sing Unto the Lord (Text Psalm 104).

In a lighter vein, Nootka Paddle Song and Bye, Bye, Baby from the Northwest Trilogy will charm you and the famous Latvian folk song Put, Vejini (Blow, Winds) with its wonderful melody and rich harmony will make you smile for days.

Mark your calendars now…. you won’t want to miss this wonderful program.
