If you love classical music, are perhaps a former AURA singer or just like to help in your community, we have an opportunity for you to consider.

Many years ago a former AURA member, Janet Armstrong, started “Friends of AURA”. This is a small group of people who assist the choir with the setup of our famous after concert receptions. It is not a difficult or time consuming task.  A Food Safe Certificate would be an asset but not essential.

The food is provided already plated and punch supplies simply have to be mixed. It’s an easy job to do with one or two of your friends or neighbours. Then you can listen to the concert if you wish with your complimentary ticket. Cleanup help is provided by choir members at the end of the reception.
